Upgrades to the existing trail systems, establishment of a new access trail, and the addition of stormwater management infrastructure. Scope includes trail surface maintenance, ditching, grubbing, land clearing, and stormwater management asset design, installation, and reinforcement. Active Transportation trail upgrades including clearing and grubbing, trail widening and resurfacing, new trail construction, earthworks, ditching and drainage improvements, approximately 1,500 m of ditch rehabilitation, installation of check dams, culverts, stormwater management infrastructure, design-build stormwater detention pond, environmental protection measures, erosion control, restoration and related site works.
