Site work for a water / sewer project in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Whitehorse is inviting bids from qualified vendors with experience in municipal water utility construction to decommission an existing off-line fire hydrant and install a new on-line fire hydrant at 308 Hoge Street, Whitehorse, Yukon. The current hydrant, connected to two services, will be decommissioned due to a residential demolition. The replacement will ensure the hydrant is brought on-line to avoid freezing risk. The scope of work includes hydrant replacement, connection to the water main, and associated civil works needed to fully place the hydrant on-line in accordance with City standards. The tender is intended to obtain the best price for the project based on the pricing in the T-1 Schedule of Quantities and Prices.
