Site work for a water / sewer project in Vineland, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The City of Vineland Water Utility is going out for bid on two types of Fire Hydrant for inventory in replacing older, unrepairable hydrants. For fire hydrants in center city where the water main is 4 inch, the two-way hydrant is suitable. Elsewhere where the water main is 6 inch and above the three-way hydrant is best for this application. The Mueller fire hydrant is the brand being requested, this brand has been installed in over 98% of the Water Utility's distribution system. The Water Utility warehouse has stocked only Mueller fire hydrant fittings & repair kits for the continued maintenance of these hydrants. The fire hydrants should be UL 246 listed, FM 1510 approved, comply with AWWA Standard C502 and UL Water Quality certified to ANSI/NSF 61-372. Question Deadline 07/15/2026 Questions concerning this bid shall be directed in writing to the Purchasing Department, Attention: Miguel A. Mercado, Purchasing Agent, either by facsimile at (856) 405-4605 or by email at PurchasingOffice@vinelandcity.org. Bidder shall submit with the bid a certified check, cashier's check or a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000, payable unconditionally to the City. Successful bidder shall simultaneously with the delivery of the executed contract, submit an executed bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the acceptable bid as security for the faithful performance of this contract. Bidder shall with the delivery of the performance bond submit an executed payment bond to guarantee payment to laborers and suppliers for the labor and material used in the work performed under the contract.Upon acceptance of the work by the City, the contractor shall submit a maintenance bond (N.J.S.A. 40A:11- 16.3) in an amount not to exceed 100% of the project costs guaranteeing against defective quality of work or materials for the period of: ______ 1 year ______ 2 years Bid date notes: You must submit paper documents as your bid package.
