Remodeling of a military facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.

The work consists of alteration of the drill hall portion of the facility. The administrative area will be renovated to provide the space authorized to support the assigned units. The existing supply and storage rooms will be reconfigured to provide secure storage space for supplies and equipment. A mezzanine will be constructed over the drill hall floor providing space for personnel equipment lockers. Sealed bids must be submitted as a PDF scanned file of all required bid documents, including bid and bid bond forms with original wet signatures or properly transmitted electronic signatures, via the eBuilder Bidding Portal (preferred), US Mail or third-party delivery to the specified address, or by hand delivery to the designated drop box. The bidder is responsible for ensuring the sealed bid is delivered to the indicated location or submitted via the eBuilder Bid Portal before the deadline. Third party delivery is at the bidder's risk. Bidding documents can be obtained only as electronic files (PDF) from the Division's Projects Bidding website and may be viewed at various Builders' Exchanges. Base bids will be received as a single lump sum for Fire Protection (Fire Suppression), Plumbing, Mechanical (Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning), and Electrical. A bid guarantee in the amount of 10% of the bid must accompany each bid submitted. Contractors must meet federal requirements for all products and materials used on this project as the project contains federal funding. Refer to the Supplementary General Conditions for the Build America, Buy America Act reporting requirements. Bidders must be certified by the Department of Administration prior to submitting bids for projects over $100,000; bids from non-certified contractors will be rejected. This project uses the single prime bidding and contracting process, with successful MEP bids to be included in all general prime contractor bids. Question Deadline 08/02/2026 Bidders shall bring inadequacies, omissions or conflicts to the Architect/Engineer's attention at least ten (10) days before MEP bidding commences.
