The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, use of Contractor's equipment, plant, and all else necessary to properly construct all improvements designated as BRIAR HILLS - 2026 PAVING RECONSTRUCTION for Sanitary and Improvement District No. 420 of Douglas County, Nebraska. The scope includes: 1. Remove existing pavement and replace with 9" uniform thickness PCC paving (approx. 3,765 S.Y.). 2. Remove and replace unsuitable subgrade, if necessary (approx. 20 C.Y.). 3. Sod, in place (approx. 1,000 S.F.). 4. Rout and seal pavement cracks (approx. 500 L.F.). Bids must be submitted on the proposal form furnished by the Engineer and accompanied in a separate sealed envelope by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of $18,155.00 as evidence of good faith. The successful bidder must enter into contract within ten (10) days after Notice of Award and furnish a bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid price. Drawings, specifications, and contract documents may be examined at the office of the Clerk of the District and obtained from the Engineer's office for $20.00. The District reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any or all bids. No bid may be withdrawn for thirty (30) days after the bid opening.
