As of August 04, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The St. Johns River Water Management District is requesting submittals from qualified, licensed contractors with a minimum of five years of experience to demolish and replace the existing roof, gutters, and downspouts of a metal building previously used as an airplane hangar. The work must result in a complete, structurally sound, watertight roofing system that complies with all applicable current Florida roofing codes and requirements. The estimated budget for the work is $200,000. All work must be fully completed no later than September 30, 2026. A Bid Bond in the amount of five percent of the total base bid amount must be submitted with the respondent's submittal. Contractor shall replace the existing curved metal roof system, including associated insulation (as needed), flashing, gutters, downspouts, trim, fasteners, sealants, and all other components necessary to provide a complete, structurally sound, and watertight roofing system in accordance with current Florida roofing codes. Contractor shall furnish all permits, materials, labor, supervision, and equipment necessary to complete the Work as described in Section IV within the agreed-upon timeframe. Contractor will secure all necessary permits prior to commencing any Work.
