Shasta College Fleet Vehicles Fueling Facility & USTs Demolition. The scope includes providing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the completion of the fueling facility and demolition of underground storage tanks as described in the bid and contract documents. Instructions to bidders: - All bid proposals must be submitted on forms furnished by the District. - Bid and contract documents must be obtained from the Architect; only those on the Bidders List will be considered. - Each bid proposal must include: Alternate Bid Items Proposal Form (if applicable), Subcontractors List, Verification of Contractor and Subcontractor DIR Registration, Statement of Qualifications, Non-Collusion Affidavit, and required Bid Security. - Contractors and subcontractors must comply with prevailing wage regulations. - Bidders and all subcontractors must be DIR Registered Contractors at bid submittal. - Bidders must possess a "B - General Building" California Contractors License at contract award. - Substantial completion is required as specified; liquidated damages apply for delays. - Bid security of at least 10% of the bid amount is required. - Proposals must include prices for all alternate bid items if applicable. - Bid proposals must remain valid for 60 days. - Attendance at the mandatory job walk is required for bid acceptance. - Pre-bid inquiries must be submitted no later than five days before bid due date. - One executed copy each of the agreement and bonds is required. - The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder, with the District reserving the right to reject any or all proposals or waive irregularities.
