The City seeks to retain a qualified consultant team to prepare a Road Safety Action Plan (RSAP) in accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation's Safe Streets for All program. The selected consultant will be responsible for creating a comprehensive and implementable plan that identifies safety risks, establishes strategies, and supports the City's efforts to secure future federal and state funding for safety improvements. The plan should analyze current conditions, identify high-crash corridors and systemic risks, evaluate existing roadway conditions, recommend targeted interventions, establish performance measures and accountability, and align with the City's Comprehensive Plan and capital planning priorities. Responses must be submitted in PDF labeled "MVSS4A RFP" electronically through OpenGov and include two hard copies sent via overnight mail to the Office of the City Clerk. Both electronic and hard copy submissions must be made by the specified deadline. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
