Sealed bids are invited for a State Aid Road Project on Hall Road. The work involves supplying 2,287 tons of BPMB-HM GRADE CW for the Hall Road SA-74063 (1) project. The Robertson County Highway Department will determine the supplier based on a haul formula: $1.50 for the first mile and $0.25 for each additional mile. Unit bid prices will be adjusted for bituminous material cost fluctuations, with an index of $746.92 per ton for Asphalt Cement. All materials must meet state specifications, with daily gradations required for mineral aggregate. The asphalt mix can include up to 10% RAP and no RAS. The Producer is responsible for required testing and daily reports under QA guidelines. All items are bid FOB, and any additives must be included in the hot mix unit price. The project start is contingent on State Aid funds and contract execution by the Commissioner of Transportation. Payment will be made to the contractor within three working days of the County receiving funds from the State. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities or informalities, and accept proposals in the best interest of the County, without regard to age, sex, color, creed, or other protected status.
