A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held; failure to attend will result in a non-responsive bid. The work must be completed within 120 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must possess a valid and active Class B contractor license at the time of award and throughout the contract. The contractor’s license number must be clearly stated in the proposal. Bids must include a signed DVBE Declaration of Good Faith Efforts and be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier’s check, or certified check for at least 10% of the base bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish both Payment (Labor and Material) and Faithful Performance Bonds, each for 100% of the contract price, and provide proof of appropriate insurance coverage.
