Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Furnishing all equipment, materials, and labor necessary to remove and replace 3 curb ramps, install new sidewalk and curbs, dispose of all construction waste, and provide traffic control. All proposals must be delivered in a sealed envelope and clearly marked with the project name. Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided within the specifications and accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond in an amount equal to ten percent of the total proposal as a guarantee. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract, along with Public Liability and Property Damage Certificates of Insurance and Certificates of Workman's Compensation, must be filed with the executed Agreement. Prospective bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting. This is a unit price contract, and prevailing wage rates apply. Proposals remain firm for sixty days, with no withdrawals allowed during that period without forfeiting the bid guarantee. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or waive any informality therein. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing, Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect
