Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) Miller Demonstration State Forest Road Rocking Services. Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to provide road rocking services for approximately 2.76 miles of existing seasonal road within the Miller Demonstration State Forest. 1. Bidder must be either an individual or firm currently licensed to do business in California and proof of such in the form of a current and valid Business License or California Secretary of State registration for the business shall be provided as required in Attachment 1, Required Attachment Checklist. 2. Bidder must have a current and valid Business License or Incorporation papers for their respective State showing that their company is in good standing in that state, if the Prime Bidders base of operation is located outside the State of California and provide proof of such as required in Attachment 1, Required Attachment Checklist. 3. Bidder must have a current and valid Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Motor Carrier Permit and provide proof of such as required in Attachment 1, Required Attachment Checklist. 4. Failure of Bidder to sufficiently provide any or all of the minimum qualifications, in the opinion of CAL FIRE, will result in the Bidders bid deemed non-responsive. Written Question Submittal July 01, 2026 10:00 a.m. Potential Bidders who attended the mandatory pre-bid site walk-through may submit written questions regarding the bid by 10:00 a.m. on July 01, 2026. All questions should be emailed in writing to Kimberly Allen at Kimberly.Allen@fire.ca.gov. No questions will be accepted after 10:00 a.m. on July 01, 2026. This Agreement will commence on (Estimated) August 01, 2026 and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by DGS. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by CAL FIRE Project Representative. This Agreement will expire on (Estimated) July 31, 2028. The services shall conducted year-round during daylight hours, except for weekends and State holidays at the discretion of the Forest Manager or their representative.
