Parks Canada wishes to hire a contractor to dismantle a glass, wood, and steel structure located at the Arsenal Foundry and dispose of the materials. Demolition and removal of an interior glass, wood, steel and concrete structure located within the historic Arsenal Foundry building, including demolition of mezzanine, cubicle structure, floors, beams, columns, railings, drywall, ceilings, finishes, built-in cabinets, staircases, elevator components, debris removal, waste disposal, temporary protection, temporary guardrails, cleaning and restoration. Bids received by fax and email will be accepted as official. Parks Canada is not currently accepting bids via SAP Ariba; bids must be submitted via fax or email as indicated. Bids received in-person or by courier will not be accepted. The only acceptable email address for responses is soumissionsami-bidsrpc@pc.gc.ca, and the only acceptable facsimile is (855) 983-1808. The maximum email file size that Parks Canada can receive is 15 megabytes. The bidder is responsible for any failure attributable to the transmission or receipt of the emailed bid due to file size. If necessary, send the bid in multiple emails properly labeled with the solicitation number, project name, and indicate how many emails are included. Emails with links to bid documents will not be accepted. Bid documents must be sent as email attachments. The project is estimated at a value between $100,001 > $500,000, taxes extra. It is mandatory that the bidder or a representative visits the work site. The site visit will be held at 2 rue D'Auteuil, Québec, QC, G1R 5C2. Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders who do not confirm attendance, provide the name(s), or do not complete and submit the required certification will not be allowed access. Bidders should confirm in their bid that they have attended the site visit. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment and their bid will be declared non-responsive. Any clarifications or changes resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment.
