The scope of work includes replacement of the existing manual truck wash pad and its associated equipment; installation of an automatic truck wash; installation of electrical, potable water and sanitary sewer improvements. The contractor shall provide copies of a current Contractor License/Registration with the State of Florida and Pinellas County (if applicable) in the bid response. The contractor shall provide 2 fixed project signs as described in Section III Section 23 of the Contract Documents. The final number of project signs will be determined at the beginning of the project based on the contractor's schedule of work submitted for approval. Additional project signs may be required at no additional cost to the city due to the Contractor's schedule of work. Question Deadline 07/29/2026 at 5:00 PM ET All questions as to the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed in writing to the Engineer The work to be completed consists of the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment, and the performance of all Work included in this Contract. Throughout the project, the Contractor shall cooperate fully with operations staff in order to minimize disruption to facility operations. No facility or structure shall be taken out of service, except those specifically scheduled to be renovated or demolished , without the prior written approval of the Owner or Engineer. Operations and regulatory compliance will take priority over and may impact the construction schedule. This project includes the construction of approximately 6 LF of 6-inch potable water main and a 12"x6" tapping sleeve and valve within the County ROW to provide water to the onsite truck washes at 1701 N. Hercules Ave, Clearwater, FL 33765. The construction of the water main will be installed via open-cut methods. A permit application has been submitted to the FDEP for applicable portions of this project. Construction is scheduled to begin 01/01/2026 and will be completed by 12/31/2026.
