The scope of work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, safety equipment, permitting, erosion and sedimentation control measures, taxes, profit, overhead, and other costs and effort required to complete the installation of a 40 linear foot long span of 16-inch by 0.375-inch wall thickness split steel casing around an existing 8-inch PVC gravity sewer pipe, two cast-in-place concrete headwalls with slab, clearing and grubbing, and various erosion control measures. All work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications, within 60 consecutive calendar days for substantial completion and 90 consecutive calendar days for final completion from the Notice to Proceed. The contractor is required to coordinate all work with the City of Warner Robins and other utility owners within the project corridor, and comply with all applicable Federal, State, and Local codes and regulations. Instructions to bidders include submission of sealed bids by the specified deadline, provision of required business license and insurance certificates prior to commencement of work, and no bid withdrawal for sixty days post-bid opening. The bid will be awarded based on the advantage to the City considering price, availability, and other factors, and the City reserves all rights regarding the acceptance or rejection of bids and waiver of formalities. The bid will be awarded to the responsible bidder whose bid will be most advantageous to the City of Warner Robins, price, availability and other factors considered. The City of Warner Robins reserves the right to accept none, all, or any part of the bid, and to waive all formalities. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities and to re-advertise.
