Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Project The Town of Wellfleet is seeking quotes from qualified vendors to assist the Town of Wellfleet with services related to the Town Marina Ladder Replacement project. Harbormaster 255 Commercial St. Wellfleet, MA 02667 508.349.0320 The Contractor shall: 1. Remove and properly dispose of eight (8) existing marina ladders. 2. Furnish and install eight (8) new marina ladders generally matching the existing ladder configuration and suitable for long-term marine service. (See Attachment A) 3. Each ladder shall consist of: Two (2) vertical side rails constructed from marine-grade pressure-treated lumber. Nominal lumber dimensions of 4 inches x 8 inches. Overall ladder length of approximately seventeen (17) feet. Galvanized solid steel rod rungs extending between the side rails. Approximately two (2) feet of usable rung surface. Actual rod length of approximately thirty-two (32) inches to accommodate threaded ends and fastening hardware. Threaded ends secured through the side rails with washers and nuts or equivalent fastening system designed for marine applications. 4. Rungs shall be spaced approximately twenty-four (24) inches on center unless field conditions require minor adjustments. 5. Contractor shall provide all galvanized hardware, fasteners, washers, nuts, anchors, brackets, and attachment materials necessary for a complete installation. 6. Contractor shall field verify all dimensions and existing conditions prior to fabrication. 7. Contractor shall install all ladders in the same locations as the existing ladders unless otherwise directed by the Harbormaster or Town representative. 8. Installation shall include all labor and equipment necessary to securely attach each ladder to the existing pier structure and place the ladders into service.
