The existing flooring is over 20 years of age and within a department that primarily has their work exterior of the office the existing flooring has become an overwhelming task to maintain. The work will consist of removal of carpet and VCT tile in the designated areas outlined in Section 3.1 . Preparation of the underlying surfaces. Then installation of the 'Hybrid Flake Flooring'. It is the intent of these Special Provisions that payment under the unit prices as set forth in the Proposal shall include labor, tools, material , equipment, and permits necessary to complete the work in accordance with these Special Provisions and those specifications referenced. An alternate bid will include all work needed to install the ' Hybrid Flake Flooring' on the existing unfinished concrete in the men's and women's locker-room.
