Demolition and site work for a civil project in Thomasville, Alabama. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
**Plans and specifications are for viewing purposes only and in order to be considered an official bidder contractors must obtain plans and specifications from Goodwyn Mills & Cawood.** The project includes demolition and replacement of one existing control valve vault at Hwy. 43 EWT, along with an 80 linear foot, 20-inch steel encasement jack and bore with 12-inch carrier pipe on Hwy. 43 and related appurtenances. Bid security is required as specified in the instructions. The project requires compliance with all applicable federal requirements, including the American Iron and Steel Requirement and Build America, Buy America (BABA) provisions. Bidders must submit, upon request, a list of projects successfully completed in the last two years with similar scope and approximate construction cost. All bidders must comply with the Contractor's Licensing Law of the State of Alabama and be certified for the type of work being proposed. Evidence of licensing must be clearly displayed on the outside of the proposal envelope for bids exceeding the threshold established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors. Late bids will not be considered, and no bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after opening. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, and award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
