**Plans and specifications are for viewing purposes only and in order to be considered an official bidder contractors must obtain plans and specifications from Goodwyn Mills & Cawood.** The work involves the construction of lagoon improvements at the current water treatment plant with related appurtenances. Bidders are required to provide bid security as outlined in the instructions and submit a list of similar projects successfully completed in the last two years upon request. Bidders must comply with all federal requirements applicable to the funding source, including the American Iron and Steel Requirement, Build America, Buy America (BABA) requirements, and DBE documentation for the selected bidder. All bidders must be licensed according to Alabama state law for the type of work proposed and show evidence of license on the outside of the bid envelope. Late bids will not be considered, and bids may not be withdrawn within 60 days after opening. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids, awarding the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
