The Town of Quartzsite seeks public works construction services for the installation of approximately 2040 linear feet of 12" water lines, gate valves, and associated appurtenances and fittings within the right of way of Tyson Street, and Altitude Valves for the Quail Trail Water Tanks, located on Quail Trail Street east of Plymouth Rd in the Town of Quartzsite and to the extents set forth in the Plans for the Projects. The services shall conform with Maricopa Association of Governments Standard Specifications and Details unless otherwise directed by the Town's Public Works Director. The contract term will commence upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed and be completed within 120 calendar days. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the name of the project and bid date. Bids received after the specified time will be returned unopened. Each bid must be in accordance with the bid requirements set forth in the Bid-Contract Documents, which may be obtained by contacting the Town Clerk and Nicole Collier at the Public Works Department. Any bid not conforming in all material respects to the requirements for bids will be considered nonresponsive. This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act requirements and the Davis-Bacon Act and related federal labor standards. The Town of Quartzsite reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality, and/or withhold the award for any reason deemed appropriate. Minority and women's business enterprises are encouraged to submit bids.
