Sewanhaka Central High School District is seeking separate, sealed lump sum proposals for capital projects at multiple sites: Sewanhaka High School (auditorium corridors plaster repairs), Elmont Memorial High School (auditorium ceiling painting), and the Radio Building (exterior improvements). Bidders are required to base their proposals on information from the Drawings, Project Manual, and any Addenda released during the bid period. All prospective bidders must visit the project sites to familiarize themselves with the scope of work and the required means and methods to accomplish it. Site visits must be arranged in advance with the District. All questions about the project must be submitted in writing to the Architect, who will issue responses in the form of an Addendum. Each bid must include a Certified Check or Bid Bond equal to at least ten percent of the bid amount as a guarantee. The successful bidder must, within fifteen days of written notification, execute the contract and furnish performance and payment bonds.
