Separate sealed proposals will be received for Brushton-Moira Central School District 2024 Capital Improvement Project, specifically for Contract 101: General Contract and Contract 107: Roofing Contract. Bidders must submit a copy of their valid NYS Department of Labor Public Work Contractor and Subcontractor Registry Certificate of Registration with their bid. Applications for registration are not accepted as a substitute. Bids not accompanied by required bid security, a valid Certificate of Registration, or other required data may be rejected. Bids must be on the provided form, prepared in duplicate, and enclosed in an envelope with the bidder's name, address, and title of work. Separate envelopes are required if bidding on more than one contract. A Bid Bond or Certified Check payable to the Owner for five percent (5%) of the bid is required. The contract must be executed and a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond furnished within ten days of award. Bidders must comply with employment conditions and minimum wage rates. Work must begin and be diligently prosecuted immediately after signing contracts. Upon payment of a deposit of $100 per set, and a separate, non-refundable $45 shipping and handling payment for each set (deposit checks shall be made payable to Brushton-Moira Central School District, shipping check made payable to Rotolite Elliott). Alternatively, bidders can provide their UPS or FedEx account information. Any Bidder upon returning such set-in good condition within thirty (30) days after Bid opening will be refunded the deposit. Any Bidder after thirty (30) days after Bid opening or Non-Bidder so returning such a set will not be refunded.
