The purpose of the site visit is to: Review the existing elevator system and surrounding building conditions Observe site-specific constraints associated with working in an occupied public facility Identify coordination requirements with existing building systems and staged construction Assess limitations related to restricted work hours, public access, and potential hazardous materials Obtain clarification of the scope of Work prior to Bid submission Bidders shall satisfy themselves as to the full extent of the Work, site conditions, and all factors that may affect pricing, scheduling, and execution of the Work. Bidders who do not attend the mandatory site visit will be deemed non-compliant, and their Bid will not be considered. No claims for additional compensation or extensions of time will be permitted due to a Bidder's failure to properly examine the site or fully understand the existing conditions.
