General Description: The existing HVAC system shall be replaced . The contractor shall evaluate and provide recommendations for replacement utilizing roof-mounted packaged units, Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems, ducted or ductless mini-split systems, ground-mounted equipment, or other equivalent solutions. All options are considered viable and may be submitted for consideration . If roof-mounted units are proposed, the contractor shall assess roof conditions and include all necessary roofing repairs and structural verification required to support the installation. Any roofing repairs required to support roof-mounted equipment shall be included as part of the proposal . This shall include, but not be limited to, structural support, equipment curbs, flashing, weatherproofing, and any associated roofing restoration required to ensure a complete and watertight installation . All proposed systems shall include complete design, installation, controls, electrical integration, structural considerations, condensate management, commissioning, and warranty.
