The Wakegan lift station currently supports P&G phase 1 effluent flows. Average phase 1 flows are 1,150 gpm with a peak of 1,700 gpm . The plans for phase 2 will require the Wakegan lift station to pump average flows of 1,750 gpm with peak flows of 2,000 gpm. The existing contract requires that at buildout, the Owner upgrade the lift station to support a total average flow of 2,100 gpm and peak flow of up to 2,500 gpm .
