The contractor shall provide mitigation credits in the form of Bottomland Hardwood Wetland (BLH-Wet) DCE credits totaling 4.59 Average Annual Habitat Units (AAHUs) to compensate for impacts associated with the MTG Project in the Louisiana Coastal Zone. Credits must be sourced from a mitigation bank that is approved by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District (CEMVN), and fully compliant with its Mitigation Banking Instrument, conservation servitude, financial assurances, and all applicable standards under 33 CFR Part 332. The mitigation bank must be located within the Terrebonne Basin (Hydrologic Unit Code 08090302), provide habitat types matching those impacted, and have credits assessed using Version 1.2 of the BLH-Wet Wetland Value Assessment Community Model. Additionally, the mitigation site must be protected by a duly recorded perpetual conservation servitude or easement to ensure long-term habitat preservation. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
