Provision of roofing services for the Plainfield Board of Education. Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, ladders, scaffolds, lift trucks, recovery systems, materials handling equipment, and all incidentals required for and/or implied for the complete and satisfactory installation and/or repair of the district's roofing systems. This work shall include, but not be limited to, inspections and preventative maintenance, including cleaning, sweeping, drain cleaning, new installations and replacement, upgrade or for new future areas not currently addressed, decking structure, servicing, repairs, modifications, upgrades as required, and ancillary equipment related to services as specified herein. All labor, materials, equipment, and all incidentals required for and/or implied for the complete safe watertight roof systems in the district. Repairs, replacement, or installations to include items required, but not limited to: Vandalism, weather-related damage Wear and tear & beyond useful life Complete failure or safety issues Code-compliant issues / ADA Security issues Acts of nature - weather New installations - replacements - warranty work Facility additions or expansions Temporary repairs or remediation to prevent further damage and allow the school to remain open The contractor shall also Comply with governing codes and regulations. Provide and pay for all permits and inspections. Provide products of acceptable manufacturers which have been in satisfactory use in similar service for five years. Use experienced installers. Deliver, handle, and store materials in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Bonds: $7,500 Bid Bond, Certified Check required.
