Site work and renovation of an educational facility in Glendora, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The scope of work includes cleaning, preparation and application of an acrylic coating rooftop building identification lettering throughout entire campus. All lettering shall be of uniform size, style, color and surface finish (sheen), and shall be applied over Citrus College provided stencils only. 1. Summary: In accordance with the provided Building Lettering Location Site Plans, and applicable stencil layouts, apply acrylic coating letters of uniform color and surface finish. Work Description: a. Properly prepare surface of existing roof system at entire area where new letters will be applied. All cleaning shall be performed by means of hand-washing surface of roof. Remove all loose dirt, debris and all accumulations of adhesive, bitumen , sealant / caulking, coating or any other irregularities so as to produce a clean, smooth surface. i . Over the clean, prepared existing roof system surface, position stencil at pre-determined location as identified by the Citrus College Representative. Stencil shall be secured (held) in-place by means of weighted ballast only. Use of fasteners, adhesive, mastic, tape etc. will not be allowed for securing stencil to existing roof system surface. ii . Sealant must be completely dry (cured) prior to base coat application of acrylic coating. Campuswide roofing tearoff and replacement project requiring Class C39 license.
