Roadway Work includes, but is not limited to: Traffic routing work; Excavating, removing and disposing of existing pavement, concrete base, parking strip, curb and sidewalk; 3. Clearing and grubbing vegetation; Tree and stump removal; Supporting and working around existing utilities; 6. Handling all drainage or ground water; 7. Removing surplus material; 8. Cleaning project site; 9. Furnishing and placing of backfill material; Constructing 2-inch thick asphalt concrete wearing surface over 8-inch thick concrete base, 8-inch thick concrete parking strip, 4- or 6-inch wide concrete curb, 3-2-inch thick concrete sidewalk, concrete curb ramps, speed humps;. Adjusting City-owned manhole frame and cover to grade; Adjusting City-owned catch basin frame and grating to grade; Adjusting City-owned castings to grade; Construct concrete dowel-in traffic islands/mountable islands; Install K-rails, Speed tables, crash cushions, bollards; 16. Install chain-link fence and gates; 17. Install erosion control measures; 18. Performing all related and incidental work, all where and as shown on the Drawings and in accordance with the Project Manual. Electrical Work includes, but is not limited to: Furnishing and installing poles, conduits, pull boxes, wiring , push button assemblies, rectangular rapid flashing beacons, and pedestrian lights Demolition and removal of existing poles, foundations, conduits, and pull boxes. Doing all necessary or required miscellaneous electrical work, road work including reconstructing concrete curb ramps with detectable surface tiles; and doing all related and incidental work; all where and as shown on the plans and in accordance with the specifications The Work shall include providing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, and services; and performing all operations necessary for and properly incidental to the construction and completion of the Work as indicated on the Contract Documents. The Drawings indicate the location, extent, design , and details of the Work required to be performed. The Drawings are listed in the Index of Drawings. When reference is made to "plans" in the Contract Documents, it shall be understood that such reference refers to the Drawings. a. The Drawings may refer to certain details of Work, which are shown on the Standard Plans of the City and County of San Francisco Department of Public Works, Bureau of Engineering, dated April 2007. All such referenced details shall be incorporated into the Contract Documents by their reference. b. Refer to Section 01 42 00 - References for availability of the DPW Standard Plans. Contractor shall field verify the operation of the existing system. The contractor shall maintain the existing lighting systems. All traffic signal poles shall be per Caltrans Standard CTSP dated October 15, 2015 ES-7B. 8. All existing streetlights shall be maintained throughout the project duration. Any existing electrical system (traffic signals, streetlights, etc. ) that are shown or not shown on plans within the limit and outside the limit of work that are damage during construction shall be restored at contractor's expense. Provide a proposed plan to City representative for approval. Performing all related and incidental work, all where and as shown on the Drawings and in accordance with the Project Manual. Structural Work includes, but is not limited to: 1 . Installation of cast-in-drilled-hole (CIDH ) pedestrian light pole foundations. 2. Restoration of concrete paving to existing conditions
