Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Newark, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the construction of a 198,000-square-foot, three-story above grade, 1,080-seat educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The New University High School will be designed and constructed to educate 1,080 students in grades 9 through 12. The building will encompass three (3) stories and approximately 198,000 square feet. Associated site improvements will include and not be limited to sidewalk installation, plaza construction, landscaping, running track and physical education field. The total Project Site is comprised of approximately 5.054 acres. Question Deadline 08/14/2026 at 2:00 PM ET The Bidder shall be responsible for delivery of such Bidders' Questions to Alison Perry at aperry@njsda.gov. The NJSDA has no obligation to make an award and reserves the right to waive any non-material defects, reject any or all proposals for any reason in accordance with law, and/or terminate the selection process at any time. Bid date notes: The Bidder must submit a Technical Proposal on one (1) USB flash drive containing two (2) separate and complete documents as follows: (1) a copy of the Experience Criteria portion in PDF/A format; and (2) a copy of the Project Approach Criteria portion in PDF/A format. The Technical Proposals must be received by the NJSDA *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
