Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Mechanical upgrades to two submersible pump lift stations including removal and replacement of pump guide rail assemblies, pump discharge connections, gate valves, check valves, access hatch hinges, and lockable lift handle assemblies. Includes temporary wastewater pumping and disposal. The Town of Mahone Bay seeks proposals from qualified proponents to install mechanical upgrades to two (2) submersible pump lift stations within the Town of Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia. The work consists of but is not limited to: all labour and material associated with the removal and or temporary removal of operational and non-operational components, installation of new components and disposal of used components. Temporary wastewater pumping and or transportation and disposal will be required while maintaining the existing infrastructure in working order. Lift Station #1: Removals, replacement, and installation of two (2) pair of 3" diameter pump guide rail assemblies, two pump discharge connections (pump support base), two (2) 6" gate valves, two (2) 6" check valves, two (2) sets of access hatch hinges and one (1) recessed lockable lift handle assembly. Lift Station #2: Removals, replacement, and installation of two (2) pair of 2" diameter pump guide rail assemblies, two (2) 6" gate valves, and two (2) 6" check valves.
