Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Calumet, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
File No. 761/20188.SAR The construction activities will include, but are not limited to, installation of proper soil erosion and sediment control (SESC) measures required by the State and Local Agencies, the washed-out area will be excavated and backfilled , with the excavated material and fill material to bring the area back up to the original grade to support the existing culvert and existing road. There will be no construction activities related to the culvert itself. Once the area has been ackfilled to its original grade, a geotextile fabric liner will be laid and riprap will be installed. To complete the erosion protective system, all areas affected by erosion will be restored by placing a six-inch layer of soil to reestablish the integrity of the remedy. The private access road will be repaired by establishing aggregate 23AA. The distributed area will be seeded with native vegetation and a mulch blanket to establish turf to help stabilize soil , reduce runoff and support local biodiversity Please do not submit online questions via electronic. .
