You must download the bid in order to receive any addenda that may be issued. Failure to acknowledge receipt of all addenda will render the bid non-responsive, and the bid will be rejected. Acknowledgment of each addendum must be clearly established and included with the bid, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.2(e). SCOPE OF WORK 4.1 Contract Description The City of Jersey City is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional planning, landscape architecture, engineering, and related consulting services for the planning, design, and preparation of construction documents for improvements at the following municipal park facilities: La Pointe Park (new electrical service, lighting, splash pad w/existing water svc. modification, drinking fountain, playground w/safety surface, amenities, paved surfaces, landscape, existing tree pruning) - Leonard Gordon Park - Phase 2 (new water service line, splash pad, playground w/safety surface, active recreation courts w/lighting, dog run w/water & lights, landscape, paved surfaces. (certain items may become bid alternates) 29 Monticello Ave. Park (new electrical service, lighting, splash pad w/existing water svc. modification, drinking fountain, playground w/safety surface, amenities, paved surfaces, landscape, existing tree pruning) Van Vorst Park (new 'Portland Loo' w/foundation design, water service, sewer and electrical) The selected respondent shall provide comprehensive professional services necessary to evaluate existing conditions, engage community stakeholders, prepare conceptual park improvement plans, and develop complete construction documents suitable for public bidding and construction. The objective of this effort is to revitalize and enhance neighborhood park spaces through improvements to site layout, park infrastructure, landscaping, lighting, and public amenities. Improvements shall be designed to enhance public safety, accessibility, usability, and long-term sustainability of the parks. Services shall include but are not limited to: Site investigations and existing condition assessments Conceptual site planning and renderings Public engagement and stakeholder meetings Civil, landscape, and electrical design services Development of final construction documents Preparation of technical specifications in MasterSpec format Preparation of cost estimates and construction schedules Bid support services Construction administration services
