The City of Victoria is seeking tenders from qualified fibre optic contractors to complete the Fibre Optic Installation - Traffic Signal Network project. The Work includes the supply, installation, termination, splicing, labelling, testing, and close-out documentation for the fibre cable installations identified in Appendix B and Appendix C including #1 FH- OLD # 1 FH , FH -IOT-01 , and FH -IOT-02, together with all associated patch panel work, splice closures, fibre whips, traffic controller cabinet fibre connections, coordination, labour, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to complete the Work. Traffic management and access coordination required to complete the Work. # 1 FH-OLD #1 FH fibre cable installation, including associated terminations, old Fire Hall #1 patch panel work, Vault V20 splicing, testing, and documentation. FH-IOT-01 fibre cable installation, including associated terminations , Vault V20 and Vault V17 splicing, traffic controller cabinet fibre connections, testing, and documentation. FH -IOT-02 fibre cable installation, including associated terminations, Vault V5, Vault V8, and Vault V13 splicing, traffic controller cabinet fibre connections, testing, and documentation. Project coordination, outage/cutover coordination, deficiency correction, as-built/redline documentation, and close-out deliverables.
