Demolition, site work and new construction of a civil project in Boone, Iowa. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Major components of the work include: Contract I Lift Station: construction of a 3.9 million gallon per day submersible lift station, above ground valve control building, site grading, trash basket and structure, site piping, 2 sanitary sewer manholes, approximately 105 linear feet of 15-inch sanitary sewer (directionally drilled), demolition of existing lift station, site fencing, generator and associated electrical work, and miscellaneous work including restoration and traffic control. Contract II Force Main: approximately 16,090 linear feet of 18-inch HDPE force main (directionally drilled), approximately 200 linear feet of 18-inch force main (open cut), 9 air release structures, miscellaneous work including restoration and traffic control, Alternate 1 approximately 16,090 linear feet of 18-inch PVC force main (restrained joint, directionally drilled), and Alternate 2 approximately 1,225 square yards, 6 foot wide trail. Work locations: Contract I is at the intersection of Corporal Roger Snedden Drive and Eastgate Drive in the southeast portion of the City of Boone. Contract II is generally in the southern part of the City of Boone, starting at the intersection of Corporal Roger Snedden Drive and Eastgate Drive, following south along Corporal Roger Snedden Drive, west along Five Mile Drive, south along South Delaware Street, west along Highway 30, through McHose Park, and north on McHose Drive. Bids shall be on the form provided for that purpose and according to the Bidding Requirements prepared by Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. (SEH).
