Louisville Parks and Recreation is requesting bids for the renovation of the Gaulbert Pavilion at 2199 Park Boundary Rd, Louisville Kentucky 40205. This project includes but is not limited to: demolition, all necessary site work, building renovations, new utility connections, sidewalks and site amenities as shown on the plans and specifications. Selective demolition and renovation of the existing historic pavilion building and site at Cherokee Park, Big Rock area. Renovate existing building to enclose the existing open air structure to provide new event space, new warming kitchen, (1) new interior restroom and (2) new exterior restrooms, storage room, and plumbing / mechanical spaces. Renovation of exterior concrete patio and circulation paths to provide accessible entrance to the Pavilion. Removal of existing concrete retaining wall and replacement with new natural limestone dry stack retaining wall system. Removal and replacement of existing exterior concrete and asphalt walkways. Site utilities work includes improvements to electrical service. Interior mechanical, electrical and plumbing improvements are included in the renovation.
