Question Deadline 07/22/2026 at 4:00 PM ET Potential bidders may direct questions to Susan Baptist @ sbaptist@jacksonvillenc.gov Project Overview The Recreation and Parks Department is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the construction of fencing improvements associated with the development of a new public dog park. The project is intended to provide a safe, secure, and durable recreational facility for residents and their pets by establishing designated enclosed areas for large and small dogs. The project includes the furnishing and installation of approximately 1,325 linear feet of five (5) foot high chain link fencing, consisting of approximately 985 linear feet of exterior perimeter fencing and 340 linear feet of interior divider fencing. The interior fence will separate the large and small dog exercise areas in accordance with the Engineer's site plan . The work also includes the installation of one ( 1) 10 -foot-wide double swing maintenance gate and four (4) pedestrian entry gates, complete with all required hardware and accessories. All fence posts shall be installed in concrete footings, and the completed fencing system shall include top rails, tension wire, braces, fittings, and all appurtenances necessary to provide a complete and fully operational installation .
