The scope of this contract consists of comprehensive stadium infrastructure upgrades at Carlsbad High School, including electrical utilities, ADA upgrades, specialized electrical and sound system integration, and the complete demolition of the existing scoreboard and installation of new scoreboard. To ensure proper coordination, bidders must note the following breakdown of specialized scopes: Watchfire Scoreboard Structure & Installation The primary Watchfire Scoreboard/Video Screen equipment is being purchased directly by the District. The Contractor's scope of work under this bid includes total coordination with Watchfire to provide all structural components (foundations, columns, and frames), trenching, electrical/data routing, materials, and labor necessary to deliver a completely operational and integrated scoreboard system. Work Excluded From This Bid (Not In Contract / NIC) : The track resurfacing, field events/jumps rubber replacement, and synthetic field turf replacement shown in the plan set were executed under a separate contract. This athletic surfacing work is already complete and must not be included in this bid proposal. Plan Interpretations: For additional clarity, the portions of the plan set not to be included in this bid package are explicitly highlighted in yellow with red annotations/writing. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, coordination, and services necessary to complete the Watchfire Scoreboard and Sound System Installation Project, including, but not limited to, engineering coordination, demolition, installation, electrical work, controls integration, startup, and commissioning, in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and District requirements.
