Construction and installation of the Gathering Place project, including furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services. The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: The project consists of the complete renovation of and addition to a two-story historic residential building at 919 S. 12th Street in Lincoln, NE. Work includes renovation and historic preservation to convert a former residential structure into one used to provide neighborhood support services. This includes, but is not limited to construction of an addition on the west side of the building; interior demolition ; retrofitting of space to install a commercial kitchen, creation of bathrooms, dining areas, and offices; creation of a new front porch ; window restorations ; installation of a new roof; installation of a ramp; and other needs as outlined in the drawings. The building will not be occupied during construction. Community Action's goal is to occupy the space by the fall of 2027 Question Deadline 07/23/2026 Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall make a written request which must reach CAP and the Architect at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the date for receipt of Bids.
