Replace an aging air handling unit (AHU) to restore reliable, code-compliant environmental control, reduce operational and contamination risks, maintain environmental stability, and ensure continued compliance with applicable federal, state, mechanical, and safety code requirements. The replacement AHU shall provide a modern, high-efficiency system that supports clean-room contamination control requirements, improves energy performance, and sustains mission-critical capabilities for NOAA and NIST research programs.
