The City of Winter Park ("City") is seeking qualified contractors for the Stirling Avenue Bridge Replacement project. The project includes replacing the existing timber box culvert on Stirling Avenue, approximately 200 feet east of Lakeview Drive, with a single-span cast-in-place concrete flat slab bridge. The work includes demolition of the existing culvert, construction of the new bridge, sheet pile retaining wall, rubble riprap, stormwater piping, utility coordination, sidewalk modifications, minor roadway reconstruction, curb & gutter, maintenance of traffic, erosion control , clearing & grubbing, and sod restoration. The completed bridge will maintain two travel lanes and provide pedestrian facilities constructed to meet current ADA requirements. The limits of the project extend along Stirling Avenue from approximately 40 feet east of the intersection at Lakeview Drive to approximately 311 feet from the intersection at Lakeview Drive.
