Town of Canmore is carrying out an important resiliency project, Three Sisters Creek Debris Flood Mitigation. The scope of work includes tree clearing (provisional), grubbing, excavation, placement of granular fill , compaction, placement of riprap, placement of stone pitching, removal and reconstruction of an affected portion of wildlife fence and installation of double swing gates, and site rehabilitation. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform. The Work to be undertaken in this Contract is provided in detail in this RFP, the specifications, and the design drawings. It generally involves the construction of the Upper East Berm , which includes but is not limited to: a) Provisional item: clearing of trees (Clearing) within the boundary shown on drawings. b) Grubbing to remove roots, grass, shrubs, and organic soil within the footprint of the berm shown on the drawings. c) Excavation to the design surface shown on the drawing. d ) Placement of granular fill and compaction. e) Placement of riprap f) Placement of stone pitching g) Removal and reconstruction of a short section of wildlife fence. h) Installation of double swing gates. i ) Hauling material from Cougar Creek to be used as Fill , and rehabilitation of that borrow source. j) Site reclamation and rehabilitation , including topsoil and hydroseeding Question Deadline 08/04/2026 at 2:00 PM Procedural or technical questions shall be submitted in writing via the Q&A feature of the MERX website
