Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The work includes concrete pickleball courts with acrylic surfacing, electrical and lighting, sidewalk and base course, amenity placement, associated erosion control, grading, site grubbing, excavations, and turf restoration. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by bid security made payable to the owner in an amount of 5% of the bidder's maximum bid price and in the form of a certified check or an electronic bid bond issued by a surety meeting specified requirements. If after 15 days the bidder fails to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
