Renovation of a laboratory facility in Boulder, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
The work involves the removal and replacement of the existing standby emergency generator and Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) serving Building 4 at the NIST Boulder Campus. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals to remove the current generator and ATS, furnish and install a new standby emergency generator with natural gas and diesel options and a compatible ATS, perform all required electrical modifications, conduit and wiring installation, testing, commissioning, and documentation. All tasks must be completed in accordance with the Statement of Work, applicable codes and standards, and NIST Site Standards. Any questions/requests for information (RFI)s/requests related to this solicitation must be received by the POC listed in Block 9 of the SF 1442 via email on or before July 30, 2026, no later than 5:00 PM (MT).
