Chatham County is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified consulting firms to provide engineering design services for the President Street Grade Separation Project. The project consists of the design of a grade-separated crossing carrying East President Street over Bilbo Canal and the CSX Railroad between East Boundary Street and Truman Parkway within the City of Savannah. The project also includes widening East President Street east of the railroad crossing, reconstruction of the Truman Parkway interchange into a single signalized Green-T intersection, and associated roadway, drainage, utility, multimodal , and traffic operational improvements. Under the terms of the resulting Agreements, the selected consultants will provide full engineering design services, as well as associated engineering related services, for the project identified. The anticipated scope of work for the projects/contracts are included in Section I General Project Information.
