Site work and renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Wichita, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Concrete shall be 4" thick x 6' wide (unless noted or shown otherwise in plans), broom finished, and be fiber mesh reinforced. Typical work shall replace existing pavement material in location. Welded wire fabric to be used with chairs spaced no more than 30" apart, on center. Paths to be constructed to City of Wichita specifications, using concrete (City approved six sack mix), Department of Public Works & Utilities Approved Materials list (Part 400-Pavement) dated 3/17/17. Expansion joints shall be caulked and sealed with a gray colored base Masterseal NP2 sealant or approved equal. Expansion joints shall be used a minimum of every 50' and when connecting to existing pavement. Joints shall be placed at consistent lengths ever 5' or 6', where possible. Joint scoring should be logical, evenly spaced, and connect to existing joints where possible. The City of Wichita is Seeking Bids From Firm(S) to Provide Construction Services for the Public Works & Utilities Department. Removal and replacement of basketball court surfaces.
