Renovation of a water / sewer project in Painesville, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Without force and effect on requirements of the contract documents, the descriptive of the work of the Contracts can be summarized as follows 1. Bidders are to include full compliance with all applicable Federal and State codes and laws related to asbestos with the preparation of their bids. All costs, including testing, and work associated with asbestos containing material removal are to be included in the Bidders Base Bid. 2. All staging, scaffolding and erection necessary to complete specified restoration work. Contractor shall properly barricade staging work areas and shall protect building materials from damage at all times. Contractor shall provide a safety plan, to be approved by Owner, prior to work start up. 3. All protection necessary for buildings green belts and exterior/interior not being affected by the Work. 4. Work quantities are outlined in the Bid Form. a. Allowances shall be included in the base bid proposal price for each area. b. Line-item pricing shall also be provided for each allowance on the proposal form . c. Allowances shall also be broken out individually on the Application for payment forms. 5. All stipulations in the General , Special and Supplementary conditions shall be considered. Replacement of windows at the Bacon Road Water Treatment Plant.
