New construction of a mixed-use development in Whitby, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 1,623,758-square-foot, 45-story above grade, 2,353-unit multi-residential development; and 19,915-square-foot retail development.
Construction of 6 towers in 3 Blocks (A, B and C) ranging in height from 33 to 45 storeys with a total unit-count of 2,353 with approx. + 1,844 sq m of non-residential space. Block D is the public park block and also includes below-grade parking infrastructure, in support of the GO station; number of below-grade levels to be determined. The site directly abuts the Whitby GO station. Towers A1 and A2 - 45 and 38 storeys; total of 833 units. Towers B1 and B2 - 35 and 33 storeys; total of 677 units. Towers C1 and C2 - 45 and 38 storeys; total of 843 units. TIMELINE: Conceptual planning is underway. An upcoming Engagement Session / In-Person Open House is scheduled July 21, 2026 at 6:30 PM - Centennial Building - Regal Room, 416 Centre Street South. The project will require municipal approvals. There are currently no construction timelines. Further update early 2027.
