Provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and services necessary to perform quarterly testing and annual inspection/recertification of suicide prevention door alarm systems installed in six in-patient behavioral health wards. The requirement covers six system control panels and 114 door alarms located across wards 2-1-B, 2-2-B, 2-2-C, 2-3-B, 2-3-C, and 2-4-B. Quarterly services include conducting a Walk and Press Test on each door alarm system using silent test procedures, verifying alarm activation, strobe function, keypad communication, and keyswitch reset, as well as performing event downloads of all recorded incidents and validating system date and time. Annual services include a full system inspection and recertification of all door components such as switches, key switches, strobes, hinges, and frames, along with inspection of all panels and keypads. The contractor must repair deficiencies, replace missing parts, and apply available software updates within 24 hours of inspection. Detailed reports must be submitted after each test and annual recertification, including pass/fail status for each component, documentation of corrective actions, and event download results. The contract period includes one base year with four option years, requiring three quarterly tests and one full annual recertification visit per year for each system, totaling four visits annually. All work must comply with applicable federal regulations, safety standards, and performance requirements, and contractor personnel must be properly qualified, certified on the system, and experienced in mechanical and electrical door system components.
