Maintenance And Repair Services for bid questions please contact Brittany Williams Brittany.Williams@tjjd.texas.gov TJJD is looking to renovate/update the greenhouse at Giddings State Juvenile Correctional Facility. There is an existing metal frame for the greenhouse that will be used . TJJD will need the following. 1) Remove the existing metal door, jamb, and all wood frame work for the door and dispose of properly. 2) Contractor provide and install a new steel exterior door in east end wall that is 48" wide x 80" tall complete with frame, jamb and hardware. Contractor is to provide and install all needed materials for door installation and frame work for door installation. 3) Install new covering on greenhouse roof, end walls and sidewalls. Covering is to be rigid 6MM twinwall polycarbonate covering. (Clear) Provide polyethylene extrusions, perforated bottom tape, non -perforated top tape, fasteners and closure strips. 4) Install a new evaporative cooling system on west end wall that is 3' tall x 15' long complete with plumbing, pumps 115v, 6" pads. All necessary framing, girt material needed for support and operation. 5) Install 5 Quietaire (model # HDE36) or equal to 36" x 36" inlet shutters with 115V motorizing kits and framing hardware kits behind the evaporative cooling system for air intake. 6) Install 2 Quietaire 24" exhaust fans ( model # AGCS2433) or equal to 115V, 1/3 HP, single speed on east end wall with inlet and outlet guards, angle wall housing, aluminum shutters, and galvanized frame kits. 7) Install 2 Quietaire 18" horizontal airflow fans or equal to 115V with heavy duty mounting assembly. 8) Install 1 natural gas unit heater Modine ( model # PDP150) or equal to, with heat stack kit. Provide all materials to hang heater. 9) Install 4 Wadsworth single stage thermostats for above items . 10) Install an exterior shadecloth to cover roof and top portion of sidewalls. White shade, 50%, taped and grommeted every 3'.
